Hi, I'm Tasneem Zaman Labeeb.
I'm based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Final year student at IBA, Dhaka — Marketing and Data Analytics major, though honestly my real interest has always been in building things and figuring out how products actually work.
I started out doing sustainability consulting. Beyond the report writing, I got to meet kids from not-so-well-off backgrounds whose lives were genuinely changed by small technological interventions. That hit different. As someone from a country where around 32% of people still face a digital divide, I became really invested in how tech can actually move the needle for people — not just in theory, but on the ground.
Right now I'm the Chief Business & Product Officer at Hipo AI (High Potential) — a small team working to transform how the Global South thinks about skill development, unemployment, and adapting to AI. I lead the product building here. I also lead Zeelto Digital, a boutique tech firm working with medium-sized organizations on their technical needs.
Before this, I was at Synergy Solutions & Advisory, then briefly at Intelsense AI where I handled commercial strategy — a short stint that honestly taught me a lot about the tech world. Before that I was Curriculum Head at Bangla Institute, helping spread Bengali among diaspora communities. I also co-founded Genius Prep Academy, the first academic Olympiad prep platform for Bangladeshi kids.
Some failures, for honesty's sake:
In early university, a friend and I tried to build a few ventures — one for SAT tutoring, another around social discourse. Both quietly died.
It took me a while to figure out what I actually liked about my BBA. I regretted it for a bit. But a generalist degree gave me the freedom to explore tech without anyone gatekeeping me out of it, so it worked out.
I've tried to learn guitar multiple times. Haven't made it past the basics. Probably won't mention this to anyone who takes guitar seriously.
And one thing I've noticed about myself — when a subject I genuinely enjoy gets boxed into a rigid curriculum, I tend to lose interest in it. Which is ironic, and a little frustrating, but at least I'm aware of it.
