Frayed or Free Tapestry
Bound by an injured thread, barely fed,
A tapestry frayed, its strength wanes,
I gather the fragments, the pieces of me,
Stitching them together, a tapestry set free,
So fear not the wounds, the fragile strands,
For in their mending, a blankness expands,
And though I'm not hanged by a single thread,
Its resilience prevails, in the end,
I'm dusted In this tale of despair,
I find my end, As the injured thread shatters,
unable to mend,
No measureless secure eternity to find,
Only a shattered thread, and---and.
