What I learned from a month of spaced repetition
I tried Anki seriously for thirty days. A few notes for anyone starting:
- Make your own cards. Shared decks feel efficient and aren't.
- One idea per card. If you hesitate writing it, split it.
- Cloze deletions beat Q/A for most facts.
- Trust the algorithm. Don't review out of guilt.
The point isn't to memorize. It's to free your working memory for thinking.
